Celebrating 10 years of Drapers' Brookside

On Wednesday, 17th July, Drapers' Brookside hosted a special end-of-year award ceremony for staff, pupils, and guests, commemorating the 10th anniversary of joining the Drapers' Multi-Academy Trust. Students were recognised for their accomplishments in learning, attendance, music, sports, and citizenship. VIP guests included Ms. Priscilla Turner from The Drapers' Company, Mrs. Dawn Hopper from Queen Mary University of London, Mr. Darren Luckhurst, CEO of Drapers' Trust, and members of the Drapers' Trust central team.

Angela Winch, Executive Principal of Drapers' Brookside, said about the event:

"While we celebrate our pupils' achievements every day at Drapers' Brookside, we particularly enjoy hosting an official end-of-year ceremony to formally recognise those who have truly excelled. Teachers wear academic gowns, and students receive trophies and certificates to honour their accomplishments. This year was especially significant as we celebrated 10 years with the Drapers' Trust, acknowledging the benefits and opportunities that the Trust and our sponsors, The Drapers' Company and Queen Mary University of London, provide to our pupils' learning experience."
